Keyboard shortcuts

slowbloom is built to feel calm and quick. A handful of keyboard shortcuts let you write and navigate without reaching for the mouse.

The essentials

  • n — start a new petal (a new entry)
  • 1 to 5 — switch between your views
  • Esc — close the open panel or editor

Command palette

For everything else, open the command palette to jump around slowbloom quickly. Start typing and it will surface what you are looking for, so you do not have to memorise every shortcut.

Shortcuts work when you are not actively typing in a text field. If a key seems to do nothing, press Esc first to leave the editor, then try again.
